#2021 Contemporary Orange-Yellow & Red Glass Vortex Marble Paperweight
This lampwork glass vortex marble/paperweight was a bear to photograph, so the colors of the boro are orange-yellow and a smoky red. The dichro is gold and takes on the hue of the orange-yellow or red, whichever it is closest to. This is a nice big one, 2. 15". You can see the reverse of the vortex in different shades of black and blue with a little ivory threading through it leaving you with the optical illusion of the impossibility of a very deep vortex.

Signed, dated and digitally kiln-annealed by Joe Winterbower. Acrylic stand included.

Materials used- borosilicate glass rods, dichroic glass sheets.
