What is dichroic glass? TOP Dichroic glass is a high tech spin-off of the space industry. The word dichroic means "two-colored" and when you see the glass in different angles, it changes color. It reminds me of my Blue and Gold Macaw's feathers or a peacock feather.

It is incredibly colorful in the sunlight and is hard to capture the dazzling qualities on camera.
